Mallorca Wine Express – Viticulture and wine production originated in the Caucasus (today Georgia) and in Asia Minor (Turkey). The first thing worth noting is that wine, throughout history, has been very well considered by Western high society, essential in any event or celebration and becoming a symbol and companion of treaties at historical level.
Mallorcan wine has become one of the most valued, opening the way among Europeans for many years and to make itself known, the island offers a very original and fun way to do it: the Mallorca wine Express.

It is a tourist train, decorated and decorated in the style of the nineteenth and twentieth century, which has its route through the center-north of the island (in the region of “Es Raiguer”) an area with quiet municipalities and full of vineyards following from Palma to Inca. The “Wine Express” is a peculiar way of getting to know everything related to Mallorcan wine, at the foot of vineyards and with visits to its wineries, where they will explain the elaboration processes that must be followed.

During the Mallorca wine express, they stop at different vineyards so they can taste the magnificent results of the vine while they receive an explanation about the different vines and the fruit that it produces. In the end, even with a tasting with aperitif of several types of wines, you can have dinner in the well-known Santa Maria del Camí restaurant, located next to the famous Macià Batle winery.

The end of the journey is carried out in the Bodegas Ca’n Ribas de Consell, a beautiful place where we can see again the process of wine storage and visit its former possession, in its interior patio we carry out the last tasting with wines, virgin olive oil and sweets Typical Mallorcan.

Apart from Santa María, with the tour we will visit the wine villages of Consell, Binissalem, Sencelles and although it does not fit within the route, we have other areas with very good wineries such as Felanitx, Banyalbufar or Andratx.

  • Times: Monday to Friday, departures at 10:30 am and 3:00 pm (Saturdays only at 10:30 am)

    o Adults: € 35 (including the tasting of four wines and appetizer)
    o Children from 5 to 12 years old: € 5
    o From 12 to 18 years old: € 10
    o Under 5 years old, free
  • Duration: between 3 and 4 hours

In addition to the tasting that you carry out in each winery, the client can taste any other wine that the wineries offer for a special price from € 1 per glass.

In Binissalem every Friday there is a market of garden products, fruits, plants and flowers. In addition to multi-ethnic clothing, leather shoes, handbags, decoration, etc.

On the market of Son Servera there are multitude of positions with products like dresses, T-shirts, shoes, jewelry, ceramics, bags and souvenirs. Son Servera is a pretty village of Mallorca with restaurants, shops, supermarkets, cafes, etc. Just 3km from Cala Millor, the coastal town with its promenade where you can relax and see the sea from one of its terraces and cafés.

In Palma, the capital of Mallorca, you can stroll through the market of Rafal Nou (between the streets of Selva and Ses Salines) and Sa Vileta (Tarent Square). In this city, there is also a wide offer for shopping with its shopping malls, fashion boutiques, perfumeries, shoe stores, etc.
